     This story is not a romance. It does not offer easy healing arcs, neat redemptions, or comforting resolution. Instead, it holds a mirror to the brutal emotional complexity of being raised to serve, of mistaking control for devotion, and of reclaiming identity from the people who said they were saving you.

     The relationships in this series are intentionally difficult and often disturbing. What looks like love may be obedience or survival. What feels like protection may be control—or the warping and recreation of someone’s reality. What’s presented as a gift may be a weapon, or a chain meant to keep them close to their abuser.
These dynamics are not meant to be emulated or desired. They are meant to be questioned.
